Silicon Image Responsive Website
Client Profile and Challenge
Silicon Image, in 2013, revealed an award-winning website redesign which included sleek, full page imagery, a reorganized menu system and a completely new hero style for the home page. What it didn't have was the responsiveness to lend itself to tablet and smartphone viewing.

Solution
With a small budget and only 3 weeks to get the wireframes and designs to their developers, we launched into an intensive series of workshops with the client. The first step was to determine the best breakpoints for the responsive pages to adhere to. From there, we identified the 5 templates that were currently being used and “whiteboarded” solutions together with the developers. They were revised, polished and annotated by our internal team and then reviewed iteratively by the entire team until we reached consensus.

Results
The entire process took about 2 weeks to wireframe and an additional week to convert all of their existing images for tablet and smartphone screens. The developers then used the annotated wireframes to convert the existing site to a responsive one.
