Pathbrite Website Redesign
Client Profile and Challenge
In 2013, Pathbrite was preparing to launch a new and improved version of their product, an online portfolio manager, marketed towards students, universities and employers. At the same time they wanted to relaunch their website to better align with the product look and feel, to be more easily updated by their own staff and to be fully responsive to mobile devices.

Solution
The approach to the redesign itself was a standard setup: moodboards, wire frames, design and development. The approach to the project design, however, was much more original. The budget was small and the timeline was even smaller. Ultimately, there was a major milestone almost every week and the entire team, both client and agency, met on a weekly basis to discuss progress to date and next steps. While not quite Agile, it was a flexible and inclusive way of ensuring that we were moving in lockstep with the clients to avoid rework and delays. The project was successful and the redesigned website launched with the new product in the fall of 2013.

Results
Before:
While the previous website had a beautiful and responsive home page, the remainder of the website was desktop only, difficult to navigate and had only the most basic information for visitors. |
After
The new Pathbrite.com is fully responsive throughout, has in-depth information about the product and a clear call to action in each of the market segments and has a cleaner and more intuitive navigation. It is built on the WordPress platform, making it easy for the clients to update as needed. |
Note that the website has since been redesigned again and is no longer accessible.
